Tiffany Verkerk - Associate

Tiffany Verkerk is experienced in Community Relations and Sustainable Economic Development.  She has successfully worked on community engagement initiatives with aboriginal communities focused on social and economic development opportunities.

Tiffany has worked extensively in several African countries on initiatives for sustainable community development.  In 2010, Tiffany managed a field office in rural Liberia for the Rural Assets Livelihood Rehabilitation Programme funded by the European Union through the World Food Programme and Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations.  She worked directly with rural indigenous Liberians to rehabilitate rice swamps and increase food security and economic opportunities in their communities.

Tiffany’s experience working with aboriginal communities in Canada and internationally has enabled her to work in cross-cultural settings with a diverse set of stakeholders and interests and manage issues in a collaborative and respectful manner.

Tiffany holds a Masters Degree in International Development from Simon Fraser University.
